University Center Expansion

Asset Engineering was hired as a CM/GC by Colorado Mesa University to provide a remodel and expansion of the primary storage facility for the campus’ University Center. In just over two months, Asset Engineering added roughly 1,500 square feet of flexible use floor space to the second floor of the University Center. The second story addition required frequent communication and collaboration with the University to allow its facilities to remain operational throughout construction.

Maverick Center Expansion Phase 4

Asset Engineering provided CM/GC services for the removal and replacement of the existing Maverick Pavilion Structure which included increasing the size of the space by 33% to include an additional basketball court. Asset Engineering provided extensive pre-construction services on this project to identify and evaluate several different options ranging from reskining of the existing structure to completely removing and replacing the entire structure in order to provide the University with the best cost, warranty/lifespan, and schedule options available.

Pinon Hall and Innovation Center

Complete interior gut and remodel of existing 40,525 square foot, 3 story dormitory building. The first floor east wing was converted from dorm rooms to an open “garage” concept Innovation Center for entrepreneurial use by students, faculty, and invited guests. The Innovation Center was outfitted with all new IT systems, movable white boards, conference room, and group lab type furniture as well as high performance lighting and HVAC systems.

CMU Maverick Center Expansion

Extensive renovation and addition to the CMU Maverick Center, Maverick Pavilion, and Phase I Health Sciences.

Walker Field Stadium

Remodel of the Walker Field Soccer Field to create the new Maverick Lacrosse Locker Rooms and Press Box. Project included custom locker rooms to house the Maverick Men's and Women's Lacrosse Teams as well as a new Press Box and Filming Deck. Asset Engineering provided CM/GC Services, including pre-construction services, value engineering, alternates investigation and pricing, construction services.

CMU Moss Performing Arts Center

CMU Maverick Pavilion

Remodel and relocation of the temporary Maverick Pavilion to create the new Maverick Pavilion Recreation Center.16,350 square foot tent structure and masonry building to house Colorado Mesa University Athletics and Club Team activities. Project includes Performance Sport Flooring, multiple athletic courts, extensive equipment storage, office space, lobby, and reception areas.

CMU University Center Expansion

Asset Engineering provided CM/GC services to add 5,760 square feet to the existing dining services portion of the University Center. Project included demolition of existing hardscapes, installation of deep foundations, structural steel and masonry construction, and interior finishes that seamlessly tie into the existing finishes. The roof of the addition was constructed into an elaborate “Green Roof,” complete with common areas and planters that are accessible from the Grand Ballroom.

CMU University Center

Asset Engineering provided project management to Colorado Mesa University on the $21,000,000 construction project. Project involvement included extensive work in Cost Control, Schedule Development, and Client Satisfaction.
